Features and benefits

1. Faster - Due to the higher sample signal flux that can be obtained within a unit of time, the measurement time is greatly reduced. It only takes 100 seconds to achieve the measurement effect of 200 seconds of ordinary version instruments.

2. More accurate - The unique multi-channel analyzer DPP can achieve a linear count rate of more than 100,000 cps while ensuring the optimal spectral resolution, usually better than 130 eV (the ordinary Si-pin detector is 160 eV), to better separate the spectra of different elements. At the same time, the powerful FP (basic parameter algorithm) software based on Windows reduces the absorption and enhancement effect between matrix elements, and takes into account the interference of different matrices on the change of spectral intensity, which raises the test accuracy to a new level.

3. More stable - Using the super-large area 25 mm2 beryllium window SDD detector (the ordinary Si-pin detector is 6mm2), this detector can obtain 2-3 times the spectral intensity (count rate CPS) of the ordinary detector under the same sample excitation conditions, thus achieving better test stability and long-term reproducibility. Compared with the traditional Sipin version desktop instruments, the EDX8000B spectrometer can operate at full power, thus achieving a more stable and reliable test performance.
